There is not much more to say that hasn't already been said about Steve Jobs, and people far more clever than I have said it, but being that I have been an Apple pusher for so long - I've been accused of proselytizing - I just wanted to say, thank you.
I grew up on Macs, but here is the very first one I bought myself, with my own money: the graphite Ibook. She lasted six years and died only when the charger stopped working. I'm convinced I can still get her working if I just replace the cord.
i think the best article about Jobs came from The Onion: "Last American Who Knew What The Fuck He Was Doing Dies." i love the iBook, btw. can't believe you kept it this long.
