Oh hey.
Remember when I said I was taking a blog break for a week?
I lied.
But I didn't mean to. I just started a new job - the first in five years - and I felt like I needed to get adjusted and fall into some kind of a routine. Blogging ended up taking an unexpected back seat.
Over the last month and a half, I've been working hard and trying to find my footing in a new environment. But I've also managed to find time to ride my bike, play in my tiny garden patch, make a mess in the kitchen, smother my cat and kick ass at Words with Friends.
I think I've just found it really necessary to physically step away from my laptop when I'm not working and go outside.
Anyway, I've missed you guys. I've missed sharing my day and my thoughts, even if they're mostly random and useless, and I've missed following your lives and tagging along on all your little adventures.
So. I'll try to be back on the regular, even if I need to step outside and take a breather every so often. Thank you for your wonderful comments and even a few of your emails checking in with me over the last month. It meant the world to me. Seriously.
