Driving in the snow and invitations...

So I slacked on posting this morning because I'm still recuperating from a long weekend in Vermont - our first ski weekend of the year! (Yay.) It was bitterly cold, but the conditions were good for riding and I wasn't as horrific on the slopes as I thought I would be after nine months off. That said, I'm really sore, and mentally tired from driving home - ok, sitting in the passenger seat - in a snowstorm yesterday. It was still fun though. We stopped for snacks and listened to my friend Damian's band, Mister Neutron.

I was all prepared to take beautiful photographs of snow topped everglades, but I packed my camera without my memory card. So dumb. I promise to take pictures when I go back next month. (The photo above is from last year at Stowe.)

In the meantime, my friend Kyra Dosch-Klemer - the awesomely creative graphic designer who has graciously offered to create our wedding invitations and I'm so excited about this because I love her and she's so talented - asked me to scour Etsy and other invite sites and show her some that I like....just so she can get a sense of our style. I'm slacking on this project as well, but here's a few that I thought were cool.
